USPC Festival Goldbook–Important Information for Champs and Festival 2014

April 16th, 2014 — inUncategorizedNo Comments »
Please find below information on 2014 Championships and above is attached the 2014 Goldbook.
The region has just finished Games Rally and is looing forward to Show Jumping Rally. Letters of Intent (LOIs) will go out to the qualifiers of Dressage, Quiz, Eventing, Games and Show Jumping in mid-May. The region’s wonderful Tet Rally Organizer, Leslie Guzman, has details awaiting for Tet Rally in June. LOIs will be sent to the Tet qualifiers when they become available.
The Regional Championships Coordinator again this year is Lindy Kennedy (thank you Lindy!), and she will be happy to assist you with any questions. Lindy’s email is: lkennedy@chgmail.com
Thanks, Deb

The Festival Goldbook is currently online, as well as a list of local hotel offering Pony Club rates and options for offsite layover stabling. Entries open May 1, for both Championships and Festival, and closing date for both is July 1.

New this year, we will be using the Alltech Arena for our Trade Fair, Games and Quiz, with Polocrosse playing in the former polo field in front of the Alltech arena. So no matter what the weather, we will have an air conditioned/dry place to shop, eat and relax.

Quiz will be hosting an International Exchange during Festival Championships, with teams from the U.S., Canada and Australia. In addition, the Quiz Challenge is slated to take place. The Challenge has been sent to all Equestrian Discipline and Breed Associations, 4-H, FFA and other youth groups. We look forward to a fun time for all. So far we have heard from IEA, and British Pony Club Branches in Jamaica and Mexico.

This year Championships is sharing the Kentucky Horse Park with the North American Junior and Young Rider competition. This is a great opportunity for the members of the two largest North American Youth Competitions to share and learn more about both organizations. The Organizers of both are working on plans to encourage opportunities for interactions between the members of both groups
